Books to read

Those of you who know me, know that I don’t read much. I do enjoy good books, and make sure I read as much as I can, given time and opportunity to lay my hands on a good book.

Currently, I have 9 books that I’ve been meaning to read ( have started a few ) but haven’t finished yet.

-  To kill a Mockingbird – Harper Lee
-  The God of small things – Arundhoti Roy
-  The High Tide – Amitav Ghosh ( Birthday gift from Ujj. She’ll kill me if she gets to know I haven’t read it yet)
-  Praying for Sleep – Jeffery Deaver
-  A Short History of nearly everything – Bill Bryson ( Currently reading this. Its beautifully written)
-  American Gods – Neil Gaiman ( cant wait. I’ve only read ‘Sandman’ amongst his works)
-  Snapshopts from Hell – Peter Robinson
-  Freakanomics – Steve Dubner and Stephen Levitt ( office library, need to return it soon)
-  The Metamorphosis and other stories – Franz Kafka ( Borrowed from Josh, I think she forgot about it)

For a while I tried reading free ebooks downloaded from the net, but I realised they were free because they were pirated. Bad way to read books like that. But I still have that collection. Don’t know what to do with it. If you want a ebook, leave me a message here, and if I have it, I’ll send it along.

And oh, I have about 72 movies to watch. Its my goal to read all the books mentioned above and watch all of the 72 movies by my next birthday. Which ofcouse reminds me,  I am getting old.
