In U.S, if a car is driven beyond the traffic rules for 5 times in a month, licence is cancelled. CC cameras will note down the car number and sends the image to the police. The worst traffic is found in Khairatabad, Panjagutta, and Ameerpet localities. The religious constructions like temples and mosques that are built accross the roads are major reasons for traffic. There was a collapse, yes, but not in the structure, but in the temporary scaffolding used to join blocks of the structure - Only 'The Hindu' has behaved responsibly in reporting this news - It makes a big difference - 'Scaffolding of the flyover collapsed' versus 'Flyover collapsed' - It's really sad, the way everyone has been misguided by the media which wants to cash in on sensationalizing everything possible! My heart goes for those who have lost their lives in this tragic incident :-(!! And I hope the government acts accordingly and punishes the people who needed to ensure safety during construction!! You know the Panjagutta flyovers right ? The ones under construction. It couldn’t stand 8 cms of rain coming down in a couple of hrs. And these are the bridges (flyovers) we are expected to drive on everyday? I hope  HUDA stopped screwing around. By estimates, 20 people have died, and about 20 more injured. Cars have been crushed. The news is that a 100 m section of the bridge which was supposed to be completed by september this year has fallen. This is the section right in front of the mall Central in Panjagutta.
