New Year resolutions - 2008
Alright. The time has come for some hard decisions. 2008 has to be the year where I DO things. I plan to work harder, develop my skills, hobbies and get healthier. I want it to be a productive year, and when I look back I should see solid results.
My resolutions( in no particular order/priority ) for 2008 are to;
- not gamble
- not gamble
- not gamble
- gamble only a set amount of money, put aside just for that. Damn.
- not to go to Vegas
- warn everyone about Vegas with my gambling stories
- get my ass to the gym ( or some sports activity ) at least
4 timesthrice a week - read at least one good book per week. ( including the over hyped Harry potter series )( I’ll be updating my adventures on this resolution in the books section )
- update the comic strip blog once every week
- work ridiculously hard
- blog ridiculously ( and also find a new word for replacing ridiculous )
- change the way world looks at India ( yes, I mean it )
- save some money, invest money and such
- do things I’ve always wanted to, but was too lazy to do
- buy a drum kit ( and learn to play i.e )
- continue to go on a vacation every 2 months ( alone or not )
- visit 3 new countries
- buy 10 new domains ( just for kicks )
- learn to organize and prioritize better
- solve the &*%#$@ Rubik’s cube under 2 mins ( fyi, I’m almost there )
- go to as many tech conferences/meets/barcamps/protos/momos/headstarts as possible
- buy a sexy SLR, and take up photography (because digital cameras are sexy. cigarettes are history )
- keep in touch with all my friends. aka, use Orkut/Facebook more
- learn to be antisocial. No more wasting time hanging around doing nothing.
- confess to everyone about being a superhero in real life
- learn to not be a compulsive liar
- not travel halfway around the world to meet someone
- buy a
nicecar
I will update them time to time, revealing results. Also, I assume no responsibility if I call anyone who comments on this post at midnight tomorrow on your mobile phone to guess how much money you have in the back pocket of your jeans which hasn’t been washed in the last 2 months. Or something like that.
