I attended the Searchcamp in Chennai this weekend. Organized by the nice guys at ‘The Knowledge Foundation’, I’d say the event was a hit. More than 70% of the people who attended the camp were from outside of Chennai.
I met some interesting people, got a good 360 degree perspective from everyone working in this industry. Got a chance to understand the opportunities, highs and lows of the SEO/SEM markets in India.
I would have loved the conference to be more SEO than SEM, but it was a good experience none the less. Its was nice to see the enthusiasm from the Online Search community of India. I hope to attend more such conferences, and learn from them.
Once again, thanks to Kiruba and his group for organizing an other successful camp.
Pictures coming up soon.
