Both Frank Sinatra and Devotchka’s versions of the song played on my phone when I set it to shuffle mode early morning. One after the other. With about a zillion songs on my phone, I’d say that was a ridiculously low probability event.
A few hours later I walked into the loo, with a musical version of the same song being performed by some orchestra. I waited in the loo until the song got over.
Then came the news in the evening that one of my best friends from college is engaged and soon going to get married ! And, he’s 25. Definitely something stupid.
Evening was movie time, which unexpectedly didn’t go too well. I’m guessing misunderstanding, or maybe something somewhere was lost in translation. We got out midway, searched an entire mall, made loads of phone calls, and even tried to hire a private detective. Or not.
Enough reasons to say it’s been a Something Stupid day.
