Tata Nano - the Tata one lakh car launched

I just saw it on the TV, 10th Jan 2008.

Here are a few details about the car:

Dealer prize is 1 lakh ( without AC. the AC version would be a little more expensive )
90km/hr speed limit
20 kms/liter promised
30 liter tank
630 cc engine
34 bhp power
weight : 600 kgs approx
Lower pollution than other cars promised

Say goodbye to parking, and hello to traffic congestion. I hope the govt realizes this and does something about widening roads, and managing traffic better.
