There were some local gang related firing at a police station in Hyderabad last week. Initially, everyone thought it was some sort of a terrorist attack, and the rumors spread like wildfire.

Then there were media reports that it wasn’t any terrorist attack, but just some local gang fights. There were people killed, but everyone’s initial reaction was that of relief.

People did realize it was bad enough, and people are still dying, but the fear the terrorists put in our minds last month isn’t gonna be shaken off anytime soon. This is exactly what they wanted, and it’s happening.
